In 2008, my late husband Matt and I brought our dream to life with the opening of Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery. Those first four years were nothing short of extraordinary. After Matt’s passing in 2012, I made a promise to carry our vision forward — and I have done so with all my heart.

Even in the midst of grief, I completed the Sunset Bar, a project Matt and I had started together. Over the past eighteen years, this place has grown into something truly special, thanks to the incredible support of our dedicated team and loyal customers — a community I will forever cherish.

Now, as I look toward retirement, I’m looking for the next owner to carry this legacy forward. Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery is more than a business — it’s a legacy of love, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences.
